At Ft. Benning, GA, a group headed by Don Lassen (SP), former owner and operator of The Static Line Magazine, established a fund to build an Airborne Battle Monument .  The 504th PIR Association donated to the fund to pay for our monuments.  They are located near the “Airborne Walk” right next to the jump towers.
